Finally updating a few things...

No pictures for today's post. I've been soooo behind on blogging it's ridonkulous. I have a few sessions I'm trying to get finished up, but in the good name of procrastination, I took a few hours today and did some much needed updating on my website. I'm still trying to tweak a few things to get my galleries the way I want. It might change some more in the next few days. Who knows! Stay tuned...

PS - if you haven't already checked out the new slideshow at the beginning of my page and the recent updates to my galleries, feel free to take a look-see :)

Little Eli...

A while back, I got to take pictures of Naomi when she was pregnant with this little guy. I was so excited to meet Mr. Eli, and I must say, he is adorable! His red, crazy hair is so cute, I could just eat him up! Okay...my baby fever has officially been kicked up a notch...

happiest. baby. ever.

I was so excited to get to visit with my cousin and her darling little girl Reece Scout. You may remember the newborn shots I took of her. She's quite possibly the most precious little 3 month old ever created. I am a bit biased though because she is family. I was a little nervous going into these pictures because this age is notorious for being difficult to photograph. They can't sit up yet, they're very wiggly, and some are known to hate being on their tummies. I was so pleasantly surprised with Miss Reece. She was the happiest little thing during the whole shoot. I couldn't have asked for a better baby! Enjoy your quick sneak peek Ashley and JoJo!

Naomi's Maternity Pics

I have been a very bad blogger lately. After the insane Christmas rush (which I completely - and stupidly - did not anticipate) I had to take about a week and not even look at pictuers. I couldn't stand the sight of them. So, I'm finally back into the groove of things, and with that comes some good posts. There are still some great sessions from over Christmas break that I need to post about too (I promise I haven't forgotten about blogging on here about all of those sessions).

So, with all that being said, I got to head over to Naomi and Daniel's house yesterday to do some maternity pictures of them before their little one arrives. I had a blast taking their pictures, and they were so welcoming. How could I not enjoy taking pictures of this insanely gorgeous couple?!? Naomi is just glowing, and I can't wait until the little guy arrives in March. I hope you enjoy your sneak peek guys!

Donaldson Family

I am so bad!!! It has taken me an entire week to get these kiddos up on my blog :( I just finished finals week in graduate school, so I finally have some more time to work on pictures - thank heavens! The Donaldson kiddos and I got together last Sunday afternoon to shoot some pics around downtown. Their mom tagged along too :) I am so glad I finally got to do a shoot in town - it was so fun. I didn't even care if all the tourists from the train were looking at us like we were crazy. Hope you enjoy your sneak peek Donaldsons - even if it is a week late...

Ashe Family

I got to spend part of the afternoon with the Ashe family. They were such a fun bunch and they were so patient. I had a blast with them! The dogs even got in on the action :) I hope you enjoy your sneak peek guys...

Walls Family

On Tuesday afternoon, I got to go over to our friend's house to take pictures of their adorable kids, Sarah and Ben. They are such funny kids! Ben has really come into his personality since the last time I saw him, and he was hilarious. Sarah kept wanting to see what she looked like on my screen after I took her picture :) I had a good time, and I hope you enjoy your sneak peek guys!

A Few Changes...

Just wanted to throw in a quick post about my pricing for all those thinking of booking a session. I will be going to full price at the start of the new year. However, if you book with me before then, you will receive the discounted price. You can book your session as far in advance as you'd like, but you have to book it before the end of the year. For example, if you decide you want some family pictures in the spring, you can go ahead and book your session and you will receive the 50% discount. To all those who've already booked with me for the upcoming year, your pricing is already locked in at the discounted rate.

Thanks to all those that have booked with me in the last few months! My business has absolutely exploded and I can't thank all of you enough. Seriously, you are allowing me to follow a passion that I didn't think I would ever get to persue. It has truly been an honor photographing your families and getting to know you all. Because of all of you, I have been able to expand upon my portfolio by leaps and bounds. Now if only I had the time to actually update my website with my new images....

PS - keep your eyes out for some exciting changes coming up after Christmas. I will hopefully have some time to work on some much needed packages, new products, and I will finally be able to try to get some high school seniors on board for next year. If you know anyone that's an upcoming senior (or for those of you who are currently seniors and still haven't had your's done yet), be sure to get in touch with me. I'm on the look out for some kids who want to get some great deals, spread the word about my business, and most importantly - get some great pictures!

More Christmas Cards!!!

I just bought a new set of Christmas Card templates - just in time for the holidays! I am totally in love with this set. All of the colors in these cards can be changed to anything you want, and these can be customized to suit your needs. 25 cards are $30, and this is not subject to the 50% off discount. You don't have to have your picture done by me in order to get these cards. If you have digital pictures you would like to use, then we can make them work in these cards. Don't forget to scroll down to the bottom of this page to see the other cards I'm offering as well. Let me know if you're interested!

*None of the photos shown on these cards are my images*

Edwards Family

Sunday morning, I drove over the mountain to Maggie Valley to take pictures of this great family. Coleman, Camden, and Carter (try saying that three times fast) were hilarious! The whole family were such troopers because we were out in the rain and cold for about an hour and a half. Thanks for being so great guys! I hope you enjoy your sneak peek!

Catching Up...

I am very behind on blogging my recent sessions. I think it's because I've had a ridiculous amount of work this week. So, for all those waiting to see these lovely pictures, I'm going to start with the oldest first and work my way down to the most recent session. Drumroll please....

First off I got to travel to Charlotte last weekend to visit my mom, and on top of that photograph Hunter's 3rd birthday. Hunter is the son of a family friend and we had such a blast. It was a good experience for me because up until this point, all the birthday parties I've done have been for friends where I knew the majority of people there. He had a party themed in his favorite thing of all time...The Wiggles! He even got a yellow car as a present because the yellow Wiggle is his favorite (his name escapes me - forgive me, I'm not up on my Wiggles information) The jump house/slide combination was a big hit. The adults were cracking up because all their hair was standing straight up (as evidenced in the cute picture below). Enjoy your sneak peek Heather!

The next morning we took a quick trip over to visit Heather and Hunter again in an attempt to get a decent Christmas card picture. I just wanted to throw these on here because they are absolutely adorable. I love that he was able to get a quick kiss in there, and Heather's expression is priceless!

Next up, we have the Cutler/Holling families. Jennifer contacted me about taking some family pictures. Lord bless her because not only was she coordinating this whole thing, but she is also the mom of an adorable little boy and six-month old boy/girl twins. Needless to say, she had her hands full! I had a great time doing this extended family, they are gorgeous! They have a beautiful home right on the river, so of course we had to use that in a lot of the pictures. I hope you all enjoy your sneak peek!

Over the Thanksgiving holiday I was able to photograph the Arvey family. This was also a very fun extended family to shoot. The weather was surprisingly mild, which was a nice surprise. They are such a beautiful family, and it obviously comes from those amazing genes their parents passed on :) Enjoy your sneak peek guys!

On Saturday morning, I got to go to a friend's house and photograph her beautiful family. Little miss Adison was cracking us all up, especially when we were taking the pictures next to their address sign because she kept trying to kick the wreath off the post. I had a blast guys, and I hope you enjoy your quick little peek :)

On Saturday afternoon, I also got to go to another friends house to do some Christmas pictures. Their little boy Drew is quite possibly the cutest thing in the world! His cheeks and cowlick are the most adorable things ever :) I had a blast hanging out with you guys, and I hope you like your sneak peek!
