Catching Up...

I am very behind on blogging my recent sessions. I think it's because I've had a ridiculous amount of work this week. So, for all those waiting to see these lovely pictures, I'm going to start with the oldest first and work my way down to the most recent session. Drumroll please....

First off I got to travel to Charlotte last weekend to visit my mom, and on top of that photograph Hunter's 3rd birthday. Hunter is the son of a family friend and we had such a blast. It was a good experience for me because up until this point, all the birthday parties I've done have been for friends where I knew the majority of people there. He had a party themed in his favorite thing of all time...The Wiggles! He even got a yellow car as a present because the yellow Wiggle is his favorite (his name escapes me - forgive me, I'm not up on my Wiggles information) The jump house/slide combination was a big hit. The adults were cracking up because all their hair was standing straight up (as evidenced in the cute picture below). Enjoy your sneak peek Heather!

The next morning we took a quick trip over to visit Heather and Hunter again in an attempt to get a decent Christmas card picture. I just wanted to throw these on here because they are absolutely adorable. I love that he was able to get a quick kiss in there, and Heather's expression is priceless!

Next up, we have the Cutler/Holling families. Jennifer contacted me about taking some family pictures. Lord bless her because not only was she coordinating this whole thing, but she is also the mom of an adorable little boy and six-month old boy/girl twins. Needless to say, she had her hands full! I had a great time doing this extended family, they are gorgeous! They have a beautiful home right on the river, so of course we had to use that in a lot of the pictures. I hope you all enjoy your sneak peek!

Over the Thanksgiving holiday I was able to photograph the Arvey family. This was also a very fun extended family to shoot. The weather was surprisingly mild, which was a nice surprise. They are such a beautiful family, and it obviously comes from those amazing genes their parents passed on :) Enjoy your sneak peek guys!

On Saturday morning, I got to go to a friend's house and photograph her beautiful family. Little miss Adison was cracking us all up, especially when we were taking the pictures next to their address sign because she kept trying to kick the wreath off the post. I had a blast guys, and I hope you enjoy your quick little peek :)

On Saturday afternoon, I also got to go to another friends house to do some Christmas pictures. Their little boy Drew is quite possibly the cutest thing in the world! His cheeks and cowlick are the most adorable things ever :) I had a blast hanging out with you guys, and I hope you like your sneak peek!

The Cline Family

I got to take pictures of the Cline Family today. I had a blast even though it was absolutely freezing! We had the privilege of being able to use the Folkestone Inn, which is absolutely gorgeous. The kids really hung in there - going inside the inn to warm up, play games, and eat cookies really helped :) We were even able to get mom and dad away by themselves for a quiet moment to snap a few pictures. I think we were able to get some good shots - despite the temperature. I hope you enjoy your sneak peek guys!

The Lays

The Lay family booked a session with me quite a while ago, and it just happened to be one of the worst weather days we could've had :( They were troopers though, and we were able to cram a usual hour session into about 20 minutes in order to avoid the rain. This family is absolutely gorgeous - I swear they look like they're out of a catalog! I hope you guys enjoy your sneak peak!

Reynolds Family

I had such a blast shooting pictures with the Reynolds family this afternoon. Their son, Connor, was not really all that into me at first (he was more interested in his action figures), but after a while, he was doing wonderfully. Ya'll were great to spend time with and I hope you enjoy your sneak peek!

I love this picture - he looks so embarrassed and disgusted, all at the same time :)

Connor is very much a football man, so we got some great shots of him playing

Kristie wanted a hands shot, and I love the way this turned out! (Great idea Kristie!)

Phoebe's Wild 5th Birthday!

I got to spend the afternoon with a houseful of kids celebrating Phoebe's 5th birthday! She had a great animal-themed party, and her mom did such a great job on the decorating. Phoebe is such a social, charismatic kid, that I had no choice but to have a fabulous time! I hope you had a great birthday kiddo - I hope the grown-ups enjoy this sneak peek :)

Miss Phoebe hamming it up for the camera. This was when she still cared that I was there and was actually looking at me :)

Her little brother Jesse, part one of the daring duo:

Her little sister Sophie, part two of the daring duo:

Phoebe is quite the photographer, I better watch out! (Of course, she was holding the camera 3 inches from everyone's face, so I think I'm good for awhile)

All the kids had a blast in the jumping house, I tried to climb up on it to get some pics, and it didn't go so hot :( It brought me back to reality that I am not six and don't weigh 40 pounds anymore...

Showing the candles who's boss! By the way, don't worry, Phoebe did inform me that her cake was not made out of real leopard skin :)

All the other kiddos waiting with bated breath to dig into that cake - I think a few of them swiped some icing...

Last but not least...The best (and most terrifying) present of the entire party - I swear it was mocking me part of the time, because it would just all-of-a-sudden start laughing at me. Scary...

Shepherd Family

I got to shoot a family of 23 today, and boy was it a workout! The Shepherds were such a great family. They were so patient waiting in the hot sun while I shot about a million different pictures. I've picked a few that I love. I hope you like your sneak peek Shepherds!
